Train fresh graduates to help support your business recovery

The SGUnited Traineeships Programme aims to support organisations in offering traineeships to fresh graduates from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Polytechnics, Universities and other private educational institutions. Lasting up to 6 months, the traineeships will enable these graduates to develop their skills professionally. Upon completion of the traineeships, organisations may consider hiring well-performing individuals so that they can continue contributing towards your business recovery.

How you can benefit:

  • Train fresh graduates to match your organisation’s manpower needs by equipping them with the relevant professional skills
  • Receive government co-funding for the training allowance over the traineeship duration

Subsidies and funding:

  • 80% of the training allowance will be funded by the government

Eligibility criteria:

  • Your organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Traineeships offered must range between 4 and 6 months (traineeships must commence by 31 March 2022)
  • Your organisation must provide clear traineeship description and development plan that would provide trainees with meaningful developmental opportunities during the traineeship period, subject to approval by the appointed programme manager
  • Your organisation must co-fund 20% of the traineeship allowance for the duration of the traineeship

  • Do note that the submission of the Interest Form does not guarantee approval for the requested positions. WSG and SBF reserve the right to adjust the support duration and number of approved positions to be allocated, based on industry demand
